The biggest mistake new creators make is trying to talk to everyone. Broad content gets ignored. Specific content gets noticed, shared, and followed.
Here’s how to find your audience:
1. Use Your Experience
Your age is not a weakness. It is your advantage. Your real-life experience can help others avoid mistakes, solve problems, or reach a goal faster.
2. Ask 3 Simple Questions
What do people ask me for advice about?
What have I learned the hard way?
What skill or experience could help someone else?

3. Create a Simple Positioning Statement
Use two sentences:
I help [specific audience].
I help them [specific result].
Example:
“I help retirees turn hobbies into side income. I show them simple online steps without tech overwhelm.”
4. Use It on Every Platform
Add your statement to your Facebook bio, YouTube About section, TikTok profile, Instagram bio, LinkedIn headline, and Pinterest profile.
5. Stay Specific
Don’t say, “I help people get healthy.”
Say, “I help men over 60 lower blood pressure through walking.”
