How To set Up Your Pinterest Account

  1. Go to https://www.pinterest.com
  2. Sign up by entering your email and create a password
  3. Or sign up with your Facebook or Google account
  4. Edit your username
  5. Enter your age
  6. Select your gender
  7. If you are signing up as a business then click the continue as a business link
  8. If not then click the sign-up button
  9. Choose whether you want to receive notifications from Pinterest
  10. Select your language and Country and hit next
  11. Select 5 or more topics that you are interested in or those that are most relevant to your brand/company
  12. Download the Pinterest App
  13. Click on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner
  14. Click on settings
  15. Edit your account basics and click save settings
  16. Click on profile in the left column
  17. Edit your first and last name
  18. Upload a profile picture
  19. Add a description about you
  20. Add your location
  21. Claim your website if you have one
  22. Edit your notification settings
  23. Connect your other social media accounts
  24. Save your settings
  25. Click on the + icon in the bottom right hand corner to add the Pinterest browser button so you can save ideas you find online even faster
    If you decide to use your Pinterest profile for your business then you can switch to a free business account in the drop down menu
