If you have a big enough list you can write your own ticket.
So, in this article, I’m going to share a proven way to generate leads. I’ll even give you a perfect example. You can modify it to drive traffic to your website.
You’ll get the details in a moment. First, let’s clarify a couple of things. People don’t join email lists for the heck of it. They want a valuable exchange to give you an email address.
Offer a free report… or audio… or video. Or a combination. Make it relevant to the prospects. In fact, make sure the free info solves a problem.
That’s how you deliver value.
Second, make it easy to join your email list. All you need is the prospect’s email address. And maybe their first name. That’s it. The more info you require the lower the response. Just ask for the basics. The email address is what you’re really after anyway.
Another thing: Along with the giveaway, offer a series of reports or audios. Tell them they’ll get one every week or every couple of weeks. This way you keep them on the list. You continue delivering good value. They’ll, in turn, give you their business.
